Dull and mild midweek forecast for Mayo

Damp conditions look set to continue across the county.

Tomorrow is expected to be another generally dull day across Mayo, though some limited bright spells may develop at times.

Wednesday, February 11 will see scattered showers will occur through the day, but temperatures will remain mild for the time of year, reaching highs of 8 to 11 degrees.

Winds will be light from the southwest or variable.

Nationally, dull and damp conditions are expected to continue for the next few days.

However, a switch to a northerly airflow later in the week is expected to bring a brief cold snap, with drier and brighter weather before conditions turn unsettled again over the weekend.

Wednesday night will remain mostly cloudy with very limited clear spells.

Scattered showers will continue, with some more persistent outbreaks of rain and drizzle also possible, along with patches of mist and fog.

Overnight temperatures will fall to between 2 and 7 degrees, with light to moderate westerly or variable winds, fresher at times in the southwest.
