Cocaine seized in south Mayo drugs operation

COCAINE with an estimated value of €67,570 was seized by gardaí in a search in south Mayo at the weekend.

As part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs throughout Mayo, the Mayo Roscommon Longford Drugs Unit executed a search warrant at a location in Ballinrobe on Saturday evening, February 14.

They seized cocaine, which has an estimated market value of €67,570.

All items seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

No arrests have been made at this time, but enquiries are ongoing.
