Mayo GAA club propose extension to house new gym

LAHARDANE MacHales GAA Club are planning an extension to their clubhouse at Boffeenaun.

It will house a new gym, freeing up space in the existing clubhouse.

An application for planning permission has been submitted to Mayo County Council, with planners being told that the proposal’s objective is to provide gym facilities currently occupying the communal room.

The additional space will not create any additional demand or increased use of the facilities, but it will improve the use of space by removing the gym equipment, which is creating difficulties for meeting, kitchen use, etc.
