East Mayo MUGA still not repaired since Storm Éowyn

REPAIRS at the MUGA in Ballyhaunis are still outstanding since Storm Éowyn - nearly 13 months on.

Councillor Alma Gallagher raised the matter at a municipal meeting, saying how some of the structure was damaged during the storm and it's still not repaired.

Ballyhaunis, she added, is moving to become an autism-friendly town. As part of that, she asked for a slow opening/closing gate at the playground, as well as autism-friendly signage in all parks in the municipal district.
