Cloudy and damp start to the week for Mayo
Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy across Mayo, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the southwest through the morning and afternoon.
Some heavier bursts of rain are possible in places before conditions gradually improve later in the evening on Monday, February 23, though skies will remain largely overcast.
It will stay mild, with highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.
Winds will be mainly moderate from the southwest, fresher during the early morning and again in the evening, particularly along exposed Atlantic coasts.
Nationally, the week ahead is expected to remain mild but generally mixed and unsettled, with cooler conditions forecast to develop by Friday and into next weekend.
Monday night will stay cloudy with patchy drizzle and mist lingering. Overnight temperatures will remain mild, falling to between 7 and 10 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds, strong at times along Atlantic coastal areas.
