The Jalopy Bar open for business at popular Mayo lake

The Jalopy Bar, Castlebar’s popular coffee truck, is expanding business to a new location at Lough Lannagh.

In a first for the area, a trading permit has been granted for the well-loved lakeside spot, creating an exciting new addition to one of the town’s most scenic and frequently visited amenities.

The coffee truck’s owners, Mark Munnelly and Wiebke Zuber, say that the lake holds many personal memories – making the opportunity to open there especially meaningful.

“We have had an overwhelmingly positive response to our opening announcement,” Mark stated. “And we are thrilled to bring our signature coffee and personal service to a place that has always been so close to our hearts.”

As active members of the Castlebar community, the couple are proud to play a part in the town’s continued growth and development. They look forward to welcoming both loyal customers and new faces to enjoy great coffee in a truly beautiful setting.
