Heavy showers forecast across Mayo tomorrow
Rain will clear from Mayo on Wednesday morning but scattered showers are set to follow, with some turning heavy inland during the afternoon.
According to Met Éireann, the day will begin cloudy and wet, with persistent rain gradually clearing through the morning hours.
Brighter intervals are expected to develop, though these will be accompanied by scattered showers, some of which may be heavy at times away from the coast.
Light to moderate south-westerly breezes will continue throughout the day and it will remain quite mild for late February, with highest temperatures ranging from 10 to 13 degrees.
Nationally, conditions are expected to remain unsettled over the coming days, with further spells of rain or showers in the forecast.
It will also turn a little cooler towards the end of the week.
On Wednesday night, showers will gradually die out, but skies will remain largely overcast.
South-westerly breezes will persist overnight, with patchy rain moving in from the west.
Lowest temperatures are forecast to range between 7 and 10 degrees.
