Mayo player voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week

Jordan Flynn has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week. The Mayo star received 3,546 votes on the GAA’s official Instagram page, which put him ahead of Donegal's Jason McGee (3,367) and Roscommon's Daire Cregg (3,119).

Mayo delivered another encouraging display on Sunday last away to Monaghan, with Flynn highly effective in the 2-30 to 2-11 victory.

The Crossmolina Deel Rovers man scored five points and was an influential figure throughout.

McGee, meanwhile, starred in Donegal's win over Armagh, while Cregg was outstanding as Roscommon overturned a big deficit to narrowly defeat Galway in Salthill.

The GAA.ie Footballer of the Week is decided based on votes cast by followers of the official GAA Instagram page.
