Mayo FC begin search for new men’s first team manager

Mayo FC have begun the process of recruiting a new men’s first team manager ahead of their upcoming National League campaign.

The club has issued a call for applications from suitably qualified candidates to take charge of the senior side.

Applicants must hold a valid UEFA A Licence, or an equivalent qualification, or be currently undertaking the UEFA A Licence course.

According to the club, suitable candidates should also possess relevant managerial or coaching experience within the League of Ireland or at a comparable level of the game.

In addition, applicants are expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of both the League of Ireland and the local football scene.

Those interested in the role are asked to submit a CV along with supporting qualification certificates by email to mayofcsecretary@gmail.com.

Mayo FC stated that all applications will be treated in strict confidence and that the board’s decision on the appointment will be final.

The closing date for applications is Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m.
