Network Ireland Mayo to celebrate International Women’s Day in style
NETWORK Ireland Mayo will celebrate International Women’s Day with a special morning of inspiration and connection at the new Grace Hotel in Westport on Thursday, March 12.
The event will bring together women from across the county to celebrate leadership, resilience and achievement in business, while also officially launching the Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2026.
Set in the elegant surroundings of Westport’s newest hotel, the gathering will feature keynote speaker Ruth Larkin, along with a celebration of Network Ireland Mayo’s 2025 award winners. The morning will be guided by respected Network Ireland members and former national president, Emma Early Murphy and Linda O’Mahony Logan (Kerry branch).
Orla Bakeberg, president of Network Ireland Mayo, whose theme for the year is 'Be Your Change', said the event is about more than celebration.
“International Women’s Day is about courage and action. ‘Be Your Change’ is a call for women to back themselves, to step forward and to lead in their own way.
“When women gather together in a space like this, confidence grows and momentum builds. We are proud to create an event that celebrates achievement while inspiring what comes next.”
Registration and breakfast will begin at 8.30 a.m., with the main event starting sharply at 10 a.m., followed by lunch and networking opportunities.
The event is open to both members and non-members. Early booking is advised as places are expected to fill quickly.
