Tributes to much-loved Mayo man who has died in Dublin
The death has taken place suddenly in Dublin of Gerard McHugh, Clondalkin, and formerly of Chapel Street, and Cappagh, Castlebar.
The deceased has been described in social media tributes as 'a true gentleman who was very obliging'.
A member of an old and popular Castlebar family, Gerard is deeply regretted by his wife Patricia, sons Colm, Niall and Liam, grandchildren Violet and Isla, brothers Declan, Jason, Tommy, Alan and Peter, sisters Marion, Fiona, Regina, Orla and Ruth, Liam's partner Lynn, Niall's partner Paula, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.
Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Clondalkin Village (D22 EOCO), on Thursday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Removal to Church of the Sacred Heart, Sruleen, on Friday for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. with cremation afterwards in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
