Snow and ice warning issued for Mayo

A Status Yellow snow/ice warning has been issued by Met Éireann for County Mayo.

It will be in effect from 9 p.m. this evening until 9 a.m. tomorrow, Friday.

Showers may fall as sleet or snow, with possible accumulations on higher ground.

Possible impacts include difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution.
