Man (20s) charged in connection with assault of man in Co Kildare

A man in his 20s who was arrested in connection with the serious assault of a man in Naas, Co. Kildare, has been charged.

He is due to appear before Naas District Court on Wednesday, March 18th, at 10.30am.

The man in his 30s, who was injured during the incident on Sunday, remains in Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
