Popular Mayo amenity to close for refurbishment works

Mayo county council has announced that refurbishment works will take place at Mayfield Playground in Claremorris over a one-week period in April.

The upgrade works are scheduled to run from Monday, April 13, until Monday, April 20.

During this time, the playground will be fully closed to the public, with no access permitted while essential works are carried out.

The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused to local families and users of the popular playspace, noting that the temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the improvements.

It is expected that the playground will reopen to the public once works are completed.
