Mayo syndicate collect €375,000 Lotto prize

A SYNDICATE from Mayo visited National Lottery headquarters this week to collect a €375,000 prize.

They were winners on March 28 in the Six Number game of Lotto 54321 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Centra, Station Road, Castlebar.

Said a spokesperson for the winning group: “To be honest, I kept extremely calm when I checked the ticket.

“The first thing I did was put the ticket in an envelope and hid it immediately after finding out the results that Saturday night.

“The rest of the syndicate weren’t as calm though and were completely shocked when I announced the news - they didn’t know what to expect!”
