Mayo tennis club hosting social doubles event for cancer support

Castlebar Tennis Club, in conjunction with Tennis Ireland, has announced it is hosting a Tennis 4 Cancer Social Doubles Morning on Sunday next, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the club grounds.

This special event aims to bring the community together through sport while raising vital funds for cancer support and research services.

Open to both members and non-members, the morning promises a fun and inclusive atmosphere with social doubles tennis suitable for all levels of ability.

A €10 donation is requested to participate, with all proceeds going towards supporting important cancer charities, including ARC Cancer Support Centres and the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

The club is encouraging a strong turnout from the local community to help make the event a great success and maximise fundraising efforts.
