Four changes for Mayo as Roscommon come into view
Mayo GAA senior team manager Andy Moran has made four changes to his team for Sunday's Connacht Senior Football Championship semi-final against Roscommon.
His selection includes teen sensation Kobe McDonald, who is set to make his senior championship debut, while another highly regarded young player, Darragh Beirne, is on the substitutes' bench.
Both McDonald and Beirne are key members of a Mayo Under 20 team that will face Roscommon in a Connacht final at that grade next Wednesday evening.
The other newcomers to the Mayo team following the quarterfinal victory over London two weeks are Enda Hession, Conor Loftus and Jordan Flynn in place of Fenton Kelly, Michael Plunkett and Hugh O'Loughlin respectively.
There's also a place on the bench for Matthew Ruane, who is returning from a lengthy injury-enforced absence.
Sunday's semi-final at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar, is scheduled to throw in at 4 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance online via Ticketmaster.
