Cool and cloudy Tuesday ahead for Mayo

Tuesday will be a largely cloudy day across Mayo, with a few isolated light showers possible.

Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in a light northerly breeze.

Tuesday night will be clear and mostly dry, though cool with a few mist patches forming in places.

Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees.

Looking ahead to the rest of the week, Wednesday will bring a bright and mostly dry start before turning cloudier through the morning, with a few showers possible in the afternoon in eastern areas.

Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees.

Thursday will see rain developing in the west during the morning and spreading eastwards through the afternoon and evening, with moderate to fresh westerly breezes and highs of 10 to 12 degrees.

Friday will be cool and unsettled with scattered showers developing in the afternoon, highs of 9 to 12 degrees with a northerly breeze.
