Big changes as Mayo go for broke against Monaghan

The Mayo team to face Monaghan on Sunday in the All-Ireland SFC series at Clones (4 p.m.) has been announced.

It shows a number of significant changes from the side that lost to Roscommon in the Connacht SFC semi-final on April 26 by 10 points.

Breaffy ace Jack Livingstone starts between the posts ahead of Rob Hennelly.

Also dropped are Rory Brickenden, Aidan O'Shea, Paddy Durcan and Cian McHale.

Coming into the starting 15 are Donnacha McHugh, Diarmuid Duffy, Hugh O'Loughlin and Darragh Beirne.

Livingstone, Duffy and Beirne will be making their championship debuts.

Included among the substitutes is young Garrymore defender Eoin McGreal.

Tickets for the game must be purchased in advance from selected Centra and SuperValu shops or via Ticketmaster.
