Mayo business outlet closed due to fire damage

A MAYO business has been closed its doors temporarily due to damage caused to the premise by a fire.

Fire-fighting services were called to Wynnes Fonenet, Main Street, Castlebar, earlier this week when a small fire broke out in a section of the premises.

Although the blaze was brought under control swiftly, the smoke is reported to have caused a lot of damage to the interior of the building.

It is hoped the business, which provides computer and mobile 'phone services, will reopen in the near future..
