No date fixed for Mayo appeal over Carnacon saga

THE stand off between the Mayo County Board and Carnacon Ladies GAA Club is rumbling on.

Connacht Council LGFA adminstrator Ita Hannon has confirmed to The Connuaght Telegraph that a an appeal by the Mayo County Board has been lodged.

“We have received a submission from the Mayo Ladies County Board appealing of the decision of the Connacht Appeals committee to reinstate the Carnacon ladies senior team to the Mayo club championship and league.

“No decision has yet been made as to when this appeal will be heard,” said Ita.

The issue related to the withdrawnal of players from the county senior squad.
