International breakthrough for Mayo sports star

A MAYO showjumping star has made a major breakthrough.

Cormac Hanley, Claremorris, is named in the Irish senior squad for the first time for the inaugural Longines FEI Nations Cup in Wellington, Florida, on February 17.

The event is a qualifier for the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup in Barcelona later this year and Cormac, on VDC Cartello, is wished every success.
