Michael English

Night of music and song

WESTERN Care Association will host Michael English and his band for an intimate evening of music and song in the beautiful St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyhaunis, tonight.

Michael is currently going from strength to strength on the Irish country music scene with both his dances and concerts, and is one of the most popular artists at the moment.

With accolades like best country dance band at the Irish Country Music Awards and performer of the year at The Sunday World Country Music Awards already under his belt this year, 2017 is proving to be yet another huge year for the Kildare man.

Another successful album, Take Me Home, features all his current hits, such as 'Tuam Beat' and 'If You Love Me Let Me Know', along with some new material and classic favourites like 'Isle of Innisfree' plus a fabulous Charley Pride medley.

Michael is renowned for his church performances, where he puts on a special show with due consideration to the venue he is playing in. The accomplished pianist, together with his spectacular band, will be putting on a show to remember in St. Patrick's Church, Ballyhaunis, this evening (Friday, May 12).

Tickets for the show cost €25 for adults and €15 for under 16s, and are now available from many local outlets throughout the region (call Western Care on 094-9029144 for details), online at www.iregister.ie/michaelenglish, and a limited number will also be available on the door.

Doors open at 8 p.m., with the show commencing at 9 sharp. All proceeds will go to Western Care Association's local services in Ballyhaunis, so your support of this great cause would be greatly appreciated.
