LEGENDARY Tuam singer/songwriter and former member of The Saw Doctors, Padraig Stevens, will be playing in Ted’s in Achill this weekend - and will be accompanied by none other than Leo Moran from The Saw Doctors.

Padraig is best known for his work with The Saw Doctors, with whom he has recorded and toured extensively. He is also co-writer of some of The Saw Doctors' hit songs, including 'I Useta Love Her', 'Still the Only One' and 'That’s What She Said Last Night'.

Padraig has been writing and performing for many many years and a night of original songs is on the cards for Achill, together with a few stories about his early days in the music business.

You can see Padraig and Leo in a rare acoustic performance in the intimate surroundings of Ted Lavelle’s tomorrow evening (Saturday, June 24), starting at 8 p.m. Padraig will be singing songs from his song book, with Leo accompanying him on guitar.

Tickets cost €15 and are available at Ted’s Bar in Achill and Achill Tourism, or call (087) 9909860 or see the Greenroom page on Facebook.
