Trivago guide is yet another reason to celebrate: in recent weeks the team from An Port Mór were pictured celebrating success at the Irish Restaurant Awards.

Westport restaurant selected for wild atlantic way food guide

AN Port Mór in Westport has been included in The Essential Foodie Guide to the Wild Atlantic Way on Checkin – the new travel blog from trivago.

Launched in March, Checkin is a new travel blog from hotel search trivago, which provides UK and Irish users with the latest in hotel deals, destination guides and insider tips.

Speaking about the guide, Checkin writer Sarah Moyles said: “The Wild Atlantic Way has been a huge success, bringing new tourists to a beautiful region of the country. With our foodie guide, we wanted to highlight the best restaurants and local dining the west coast has to offer.

“An Port Mór was selected for our guide because of its passion for using only locally sourced produce and its commitment to creating new and interesting delicious dishes. The restaurant’s quiet setting and welcoming interior really make this Westport restaurant a special spot along the Wild Atlantic Way.”

Trivago (www.trivago.ie) is the world’s largest online hotel search site, comparing rates from over 700,000 hotels on over 200 booking sites worldwide.

The list of accolades at An Port Mór is continually growing – in recent weeks it was named best restaurant at the Irish Restaurant Awards, Connaught region.
