Foxford woollen mills shortlisted for top award

 

FOXFORD Woollen Mills is one of two Mayo businesses shortlisted in the Irish Times 'Best Shops in Ireland 2015' competition.

The mills' shop is a finalist in the best gifts, crafts, design and interior category.

There was also good news for Crossmolina butcher Jarlath Tolan who is in contention for glory in the market stall/pop-up shop category.

More than 3,000 shops nationwide were nominated in the competition by the general public and now finalists have been announced across 10 categories.

The winners in each category will be announced on Saturday, August 29.
