Search resumes tomorrow for missing Ballina man

The Quay in Ballina is the starting point for the resumed search for a local man missing since early January.

A SEARCH is to be resumed tomorrow (Saturday, March 19) for a 39-year-old Ballina man who has been missing for over 10 weeks.

The search will be concentrated on the tidal reaches of the River Moy and Enniscrone, Pullaheeny, Easkey and Skreen on the west Sligo coastline.

The missing man hasn't been since January 5 despite a huge initial search involving gardaí, civilians, and the rescue services.

Tomorrow's search will start at The Quay, Ballina, at 9 a.m. Farmers in the search areas are asked to check their properties.
