Mayo clubs share €19,300 summer bonanza

MINISTER of State for Regional Economic Development Michale Ring has today welcomed funding of €19,300 to 45 organisations in Mayo under the Mayo Sports Partnership’s Special Participation Scheme 2016.

The aim of the sports partnership is to increase participation in sport and physical activity and it is envisaged that all projects will help to do just that, particularly in specific target groups of the population.

Minister Ring paid tribute to volunteers involved in sport at all levels through the county.
