Death of progressive Castlebar farmer

THE death has occurred of Pat Sammon, Tully, Rehins, Newport Road, and formerly of Chapel Street, Castlebar.

Popular and widely respected, the deceased was a progressive farmer all his life and was attached to the farming staff of St. Mary's Hospital, Castlebar, for many years. He was predeceased by his wife, Annie.

Deepest sympathy is tendered to his sons Patrick, Gerry (Castlegar, Ahascragh), Martin, Fintan and Brendan, daughters Marie Morris (Cappagh Road, Barna) and Denise, brother John, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

His remains will be reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Monday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to Glenisland Church.

Burial takes place in Glenisland Cemetery on Tuesday following Requiem Mass at 11 a.m.
