Funeral of Sinéad Higgins to take place in Westport

THE remains of Aughagower born Sinéad Higgins, who died in London along with her young son, Oisín O'Driscoll, last month, have been repatriated for burial.

Sinéad's remains will repose at McGing's Funeral Home, Westport, tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5 to 7 p.m.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Chuch, Westport, at 12 noon on Wednesday with burial afterwards in Aughagower Cemetery.

Sinead's son Oisín has already been laid to rest in Co. Wicklow, his father's native county.
