Sharon elected to Macra vice-president post

MACRA na Feirme has elected a new national president, James Healy from Kilmartin, Donoughmore, Co. Cork.

Mayo's Sharon Corcoran, from Three Lakes Macra, was declared the winner in the north-west race for one of three vice-president positions nationwide.

Sharon and the other two vice-presidents will take up their positions alongside president-elect Healy at Macra's AGM in Leitrim on May 6.

Sharon has been a member of Claremorris Macra since 2011 and Three Lakes Macra since 2016. She has held a number of committee positions at club, county, regional and national level.
