Top agri-business appointment for Mayo man Sean
IFAC Accountants, specialist business advisers to the agri business sector, has announced the organisation’s new chairman as Sean Clarke of Killala.
Sean has been a member of IFAC’s board for a number of years, representing members in the Mayo/Galway area and recently as an IFA representative.
Previously chairman of the IFA Farm Business Committee, Sean is a regular contributor to the Irish Farmers Journal.
He stated: “I am honoured and humbled to have been elected chairman of IFAC.
'IFAC is unparalleled in its ability to seek out and pursue every opportunity that can benefit its clients and I am determined to facilitate and accelerate this effort in any way I can.
'It is a great organisation with great people and I look forward to being part of it in the future.”
Sean succeeds Seamus O’Brien, who served as chairman of IFAC since 2006.
