Donation money stolen from churches

GARDAÍ are investigating raids on two churches in the south Mayo area - The Neale and Glencorrib - in which sums of money were stolen from donation boxes.

Two males are suspected of being involved, travelling in a silver coloured Vauxhall Astra car.

Both churches were targeted between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday last, June 27.

Gardaí say small sums of money were involved and that they are following a definite line of enquiry.
