Gardaí locate illicit drugs in Ballina searches

A NUMBER of drug finds, mostly cannabis, were made in the Ballina area over the weekend.

The finds were made by the Mayo Divisional Drugs Unit, supported by uniformed gardai, as part of a planned operation.

Gardaí say a number of people are now assisting them with their enquiries.
