Sheer size of Castlebar's Christmas Ice Rink is set to increase its appeal

THIS is an exclusive picture of the interior of the Christmas Ice Ring in Castlebar. 

Cool Running Events Limited, the operators of the facility, provided access to The Connaught Telegraph this morning to view the interior of the impressive amenity.

With a floor area of 10,780 sq. ft, it is poised to be a major family attraction  for the region when fully operational ahead of the official opening on Friday, November 24, at 4 p.m.

In fact, its sheer size will pleasantly surprise people and increase its appeal.

The freezing of the floor surface will begin over the coming days and the county town will be ready to be declared the 'Christmas Mecca of the West.'
