Patrick Murphy claimed two major handball titles in 2017

IT comes as no surprise that Claremorris handballer Patrick Murphy is back again to receive another award.

Only turning 18 in May, he competed in the men’s senior doubles All-Ireland 40x20 handball championship with partner Niall Joyce. He also reached the final of the 23 and under grade in the adult nationals.

However, this award is for winning two All-Ireland titles in 2017: the minor hardball singles title and the colleges 60x30 boys’ senior singles.
