Power outages after storm

A LARGE number of homes in the Mayo region are without electricity this morning following last night's storm.

Among the areas where outages are reported are Swinford, Charlestown, Kiltimagh, Knock, Ballyhaunis, Claremorris, Ballinrobe, Roundfort, Kilmaine, Cornamona, Tourmakeady, and Crossmolina.

ESB crews are working to restore power.
