SARAH Baynes played a key role in getting Castlebar Celtic into the Women’s Under 18 FAI Cup final as her double strike helped them to an impressive 3-0 win over Limerick side, Murroe FC.

Already recognised at international level at Under 16 and Under 17 level, Sarah has been a prolific scorer for Castlebar Celtic over the seasons but the two goals scored in the semi-final were among the most important she has scored for her team, who went on to win the title.

Her award will be presented at a gala night in Breaffy House Resort on February 10.
