Impressive start by cyclist Conor

CONOR Gallagher from Castlebar Cycling Club has had a very impressive start to his first year cycling as a junior.

Conor, who is 16, and who has recovered from a serious knee injury, won Rás Lumni in Limerick recently then went on to come an impressive second in GC General Classification at the Kanturk three-day event. Conor rode well the first day and followed up with an impressive time trial on day two, resulting in him achieving his spot on the podium after the final 120km road race stage.

Conor has been cycling with Castlebar Cycling Club for the last five years and is coached by David Brennan of Castlebar CC.
