Conal Gallen's show A Bit On The Side is coming to the Royal Theatre in Castlebar.

Conal gallen and his bit on the side

Donegal comic Conal Gallen has established one of the most successful touring circuits for any Irish comedian, selling out theatres across the country for the past eight years.

But the funny man takes his hilarious humour to a whole new level in his very own side-splitting sell-out two-act comedy farce A Bit On The Side, which comes to Castlebar’s Royal Theatre on Saturday, January 31 (8 p.m.).

The action takes place in the household of Bridie and Willie Murphy, a couple who have fought the war of marriage for over 30 years. It’s a love story unlike any other with wandering eyes, feet and hands - it’s all here!

Join Bridie, Willie, Dick and Cynthia (Yes, Cynthia!) as this tale of passion and intrigue unfolds.

Written by Conal and his son Rory, it’s a play that was 16 years and six weeks in production (16 years thinking about it and six weeks writing!).

Tickets cost €27.90 and are available in person from the Royal Theatre box office and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide, by phone on (094) 9023111 or 0818 300 000, or online at www.royaltheatre.ie or www.ticketmaster.ie.
