Spa Salveo at Knockranny House Hotel is an award winner.

Mayo spa scoops award at irish tatler spa of the year awards

SPA Salveo in Knockranny House Hotel, Westport, has won the award for Best Package at the Irish Tatler Spa of the Year Awards in association with Häagen-Dazs.

Entitled 'Sami Zen', Spa Salveo's amazingly luxurious Kerstin Florian treatment consists of a full body brush, a scrub using Turkish salts, a relaxing 10-minute private jacuzzi bath in camomile oil, a full body hot stone massage and, to finish off, a mini facial and scalp massage.

The combined array of lavish treatments as well as the value for money made it a clear winner for the judges, with one commenting: “I was glowing from head to toe and felt super relaxed...and I did a double take when I saw the price afterwards.”

In the same category, the Chill Spa at the Ice House Hotel in Ballina picked up a highly commended cert for its 'Bespoke Body Banquet'.

There were two further highly commended certs for the Ice House's Chill Spa in the Boutique Spa of the Year and People's Choice categories, which were won by The Dawson Spa at The Dawson Hotel & Spa (Dublin) and The Spa at Galgorm, Galgorm Resort & Spa (Ballymena, near Belfast) respectively.

Now in their sixth year, the Irish Tatler Spa Awards in association with Häagen-Dazs commends the best spas in the country with awards being presented in 10 categories.

An expert judging panel spent the last few months travelling up and down the country rediscovering old favourites, trying out the newest treatments and hand-picking Ireland’s most fabulous spa experiences.
