The road between Ballinrobe and Clonbur remains closed

Many Mayo roads remain closed this evening

MAYO County Council has issued an updated report on road closures in the county in the aftermath of Storm Desmond.

The big news in the report is that the road at Ballylahan Bridge, Straide, has reopened. The breakdown is as follows.

Castlebar Municipal District

N60 – At Balla – Road flooded but passable with care.

N58 – At Ballylahan Bridge – Road now open, beware of surface water.

Claremorris Municipal District

R334 – Ballinrobe to Headford – Road closed at both The Neale and Cross

L1613 – Ballinrobe to Clonbur – Road closed

R331 – Ballinrobe to Claremorris – Road Closed

Ballina Municipal District

Ballina – Barrett Street – Road Closed

LS5361 - Green Road, Foxford – Road Closed

LP1329 - Toomore Road – Road Closed

LS5349 - at Scarrownageeragh Bridge – Road Closed

West Mayo Municipal District

R330 – Westport to Partry – Road now open
