Local group Blás launching new album

LOCAL super group Blás will launch their new album, entitled Blás, in legendary music bar Matt Molloy's, Westport, tonight (Thursday).

The group are just back from a tour in Germany which consisted of a whopping 33 nights back to back.

Blás comprises musicians Anne Brennan, David Doocey, Stephen Doherty and Shane MacGowan. Guesting with the guys is Conemara singer Monica Brennan.

Doors for tonight's launch open at 9 p.m. so get there early to ensure a good seat.
