Castlebar Chamber to conduct local business survey

THE Chamber of Commerce in Castlebar is in the process of conducting a survey of all business in the town.

The survey is designed to gauge any positive changes in business growth since the start of 2016.

Explained Wilson Bird, president: “The plan is that that the survey will identify positive areas of growth in the town which the chamber can try and help build on and also to impress possible outside business in relocating here.'

The survey, the first of its kind to be undertaken in Castlebar is currently being conducted through the Chamber Of Commerce Offices and all business are asked to participate to help give an accaurate view of anty rate of economic recovery.

Business will be contacted by the Chamber and the survey results will not publish the names of any individual buisness and is designed to protect the annonimity and privacy of those who take part.

“The survey will hopefully lay an important foundation in helping business project a positive view on the advantages that Castlebar has to offer over other towns in the region “ added Mr. Bird.
