Castlebar to host Connaught final replay

ELVERYS MacHale Park, Castlebar, has been named as the venue for next Saturday's Connaught SFC final replay between Roscommon and Galway.

The Connaught Council announced its decision within the past half an hour.

Hyde Park in Roscommon was ruled out for the replay due to ongoing crowd capacity issues at the ground.

The time of the throw-in will not be decided until after the tomorrow morning's draw for the next round of the All-Ireland SFC Qualifers.

In the event of Mayo being drawn at home to Cork, Longford or Kildare, the Castlebar venue could host two games next Saturday.
