Lions recruit their first lady members

THE Castlebar Lions Club search for women members has been successful.

Aisling Dunne and Mary McGowan joined the club at their January meeting.

Donal O'Shea, chairman, said he was very excited about the club's projects for 2017, which he expects to be a bigger and better than 2016, which itself was a very successful year.

The next meeting of Castlebar Lions Club is on Thursday, February 2. New members, male or female, are most welcome.
