Passing of much-loved Castlebar woman

THE death has occurred of Mary Murray (nee Lally), 12 Riverdale Court, Castlebar, and formerly of Tavanaghmore, Knockmore, Ballina.

Mary was aged 58 years and had been ill for some time.

A much-loved personality, she was held in very high regard in the community and dedicated so much of her life to her family.

She was wife of the late Michael Murray and loving mother of Majella (Kennedy) Woodville, Newport Road, Castlebar, Bernie (Heneghan), An Sruthan, Turlough Road, Castlebar, and Gerard, Dunbeag, Newport Road, Castlebar.

She was sister of Bridget (Murphy), Foxford, Helen (Coughter), Manulla, Castlebar, Orla (Crean), Dromore West, Co. Sligo, Anne (Mahon), Culleens, Co. Sligo, Martin, Knockmore, Francy, Blackrock Nursing Home, Foxford, Brendan, Killala, John, Knockmore, Gerry, Knockmore, Mike, Knockmore, and the late Tommy.

Her remains will be reposing at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, this evening (Tuesday) from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, arriving at 8.30 p.m.

Requiem Mass takes place on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m with the funeral proceeding to the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
