Gardaí in Ballina investigate pub and house break-ins

GARDAÍ in Ballina are investigating a break-in at the Peacock Bar at O'Rahilly Street in the town last night.

There was also a break-in to a house at Corcoran Terrace.

In another incident, two charity boxes were smashed open in the laneway connecting O'Rahilly Street and Hill Street. A sum of cash was taken.
