Jason Doherty replaces Conor O'Shea for Galway clash

THE Mayo team to face Galway in the Connaught senior championship semi-final in Pearse Stadium, Salthill, on Sunday (June 11) shows just one change from the side that lined out against Sligo in the quarterfinal.

Jason Doherty is the new man in the starting 15, replacing the injured Conor O'Shea in the half-roward line.

However, it will be very interesting to see if this will in fact be the Mayo side that starts against their arch rivals.

Sunday's game will also mark Andy Moran's 150th appearance in a Mayo jersey – a phenomenal achievement by the Ballaghaderreen man.

The Mayo team in full is: David Clarke (Ballina Stephenites), Chris Barrett (Belmullet), Ger Cafferkey (Ballina Stephenites), Keith Higgins (Ballyhaunis), Colm Boyle (Davitts), Lee Keegan (Westport), Patrick Durcan (Castlebar Mitchels), Seamus O'Shea (Breaffy), Tom Parsons (Charlestown), Fergal Boland (Aghamore), Diarmuid O'Connor (Ballintubber), Jason Doherty (Burrishoole), Kevin McLoughlin (Knockmore), Cillian O'Connor (Ballintubber - captain), Andy Moran (Ballaghaderreen).
