Health food company creates 15 jobs in Castlebar

A TOTAL of 15 new jobs have been created in Castlebar by the opening of 'Freshly Chopped' at Casey's Londis at Knockcroghery in the town.

The health food company officially launched its first Mayo outlet this week.

Brian Lee, co-founder and managing director of Freshly Chopped, said: “We're thrilled to be opening our first Freshly Chopped in the county as our exciting journey expands west.

“It is clear that more and more Irish consumers want affordable healthy food options and that is exactly what our unique Freshly Chopped experience will be providing to the people of Castlebar.

“With the ready availability of fast food in many Irish towns, we are thrilled to be able to offer consumers a nutritious alternative.

“Eating well is crucial for healthy living and we will work hard to attract young people to our innovative brand of nutritious fast food. Our stores cater for a diverse range of people from students to busy professionals.

“I am looking forward to opening more and more Chopped outlets across Ireland and hopefully a few more in Mayo.

'We are looking forward to working hard to make sure our newest Freshly Chopped is as successful as our other outlets.â€Â
